How it compares in Harris County

0.25 high-risk violations per inspection, against a county median of 0.60. Lower is better.

Better than 74 out of 100 daycares in Harris County, and 73 out of 100 across the Houston metro. Rate, not raw count, because a center inspected 12 times will always have more findings on paper than one inspected twice.

HighCorrected 25 Sep 2023Standard 746.1205(a)(1)

Responsibilities of Caregivers - Know children responsible for

Based on information gathered in the investigation it was determined neither caregiver of a child left unattended on the playground noticed the child was missing when they got to the playground, when they left the playground, and when they returned to the classroom. They did not realize the child was missing from the group until they were alerted by the director. This substantiates that the caregivers did not know which children (or how many) they were responsible for. Information gathered indicated transition protocols were not followed.
